This webinar launch event will be of interest to Local Planning Authorities, Development Managers, Park Managers, Communities and Neighbourhood Planning. Attendees will come away with clarity about the quantity and quality of green infrastructure (GI) required and an improved understanding of how to design green infrastructure to deliver multiple benefits.

The GI Framework will help local planning authorities and developers meet requirements in the National Planning Policy Framework to consider GI in local plans and in new developments.

This represents a commitment in the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan to deliver more and better quality GI to enhance towns and cities, and create attractive, healthy and investable places.
