Biosolar Roof
Working with The Urban Greening Company, GIC planned and designed a combined photovoltaic (PV) and extensive green roof on Standard Chartered’s offices in Bishopsgate in the City of London. We were able to draw upon the expertise of our Swiss colleagues, who are aware of the pitfalls in combining green roofs with PVs and who have also supported the European Biosolar Roof initiative.
GIC advised on the green roofs and interior living wall for Cambridge University’s centre for the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, which is housed in the David Attenborough Building.
